google cloud functions - Firebase environment config set removing '^'

Question

I am doing firebase functions:config:set test.login="abc@abc" test.pass="abc^abc"

But when I seeing the config through config:get I see that password is being stored as abcabc instead of abc^abc.

How do I resolve this?

*EDIT: I tried abc^abc but it did not work
