timeout - How to I stop Modal from closing?

Question

This is a simple ask, I think. I have a Modal with image and text. Pops up 3 sec after page load, but goes off after 7 secs? I just need it to stay on longer, in fact not go off at all without clicking on close. Other than putting a billion seconds, which I feel is a rubbish approach, I am stumped for suggestions or responses from the net?

It is that disgusting "7000" that curdles my stools right now. I want to put more text into the modal but it doesn't hang about long enough to read it? Help would be great.....
