path - Newby module and widget problems

Question

I can't seem to get editors to find modules. They say add this directory to PATH but don't say how. When tkinter is actually imported, it doesn't locate ttk half the time. neither tk not ttk recognize their own widgets, ComboBox and ListBox, even tho they appear as auto-fill options. Everything seems to create different folder locations. I have three or four versions of python in different locations, two editors in different locations. I have three or four "scripts" folders to choose from... I love how python codes, I can't wait to get the editors and modules up and running.
