I am posting on behalf of my partner (who is the developer) so forgive me if I am not providing enough information (no code)...but our app is using a react native map to display a bunch of custom icons. In some areas, there is too much icon density so we want to control which icons are on the bottom (partially or completely hidden) and which are on top (more visible)
This doesn't seem to work. Haven't been able to figure out any way to control the order of the objects (which is on top of which or behind which). In researching I have come across some posts indicating for whatever reason this (zindex) just flat doesn't work or isn't supported with react-native maps...but most of those posts are several years old so I am trying to confirm whether or not this is possible. Anyone have experience with this?
thanks
