windows - How to know Why C drive become full in size

Question

I have virtual machine with windows server2008. It has C and D drives. The C Drive is 40GB. I wrote data from app on D drive. However, C drive increasing in size and it almost be filled.

Can I know the reason of that? Can I know what is filling the space on C drive??

Note: The disk type of the machine in dynamic.
