fuzzy search - allow for spaces in fuzziness bool_prefix query - Elasticsearch

Question

I'm making a recommendation drop down for a search.

Recommendation-index:

Recommendation-index example:

My queries look like this:

It needs to stay as bool_prefix, and the fuzziness works for searches like "hellx w" will return "hello world". However, it doesn't work for spaces, like "helloworld" doesn't return "hello world". I can't seem to add slop due to the bool_prefix type but I also am not sure if that's going to fix my problem. Any advice for getting "helloworld" to return "hello world"?
