time - javascript new Date(year, month, day) gives wrong value

Question

I'm using this browser extension that lets you change the timezone of your browser. When I set my timezone to America/Chicago, this code:

new Date(2021, 0, 2);

gives me Fri Jan 01 2021 18:00:00 GMT-0600 (America Chicago Standard Time) {}.

But When the system's time zone is GMT or GMT+5:30, I get Sat Jan 02 2021 00:00:00 GMT+0530 (India Standard Time)

How do I fix it?
