session - Why show white blank page after change sess save path in codeigniter?

Question

I changed the sess_save_path in CI Config

From null to APPPATH.'ci_session';

And make folder with 0700 permission name ci_session inside application folder

But why when the web load, it only show white blank.

If i change the sess save path to sys_get_temp_dir() it's work. But the session that have set. Cannot be access in other controller

And the website is http://ip:port
