i'm trying to update a projecjt with gulp 3 to gulp 4 (node 12)

before update it i've done the following (but i don't know it is correct or complted)
- npm install --global --production windows-build-tools --vs2019
- from visualstudio insaller, i've installed this package (the latest version)
MSVC v142 - VS 2019 C++ Build Tools x64/x86 (v14.20)
I'm not sure about different versions of the packages, someone says to use vs2015 someone else says vs2019, does someone has a working setup or clarifing me something about it?
