Visual Studio 2017 breaks in debug mode and displays the message:

Your app has entered a break state, but there is no code to show because all threads were executing external code (typically system or framework code).

The message is in the Break Mode Window.

What to do?

Answer 1

Click on "Continue execution"

Then you will have the stacktrace in the output tab
