How do I get GMT time?

NSDate *c =[NSDate date];

gives system time, not GMT.

This is a simpler version of Ramin's answer

+ (NSDate *) GMTNow
{
 NSDate *sourceDate = [NSDate date];
    NSTimeZone* currentTimeZone = [NSTimeZone localTimeZone];
    NSInteger currentGMTOffset = [currentTimeZone secondsFromGMT];

    [sourceDate addTimeInterval:currentGMTOffset];

    return sourceDate;
}
