d3.js怎样将图片设置为地图的背景呢

我这边用d3.js画了一个世界地图，我想将世界地图的陆地上面添加背景图片，我知道的只有用fill设置纯色的背景颜色；
但是怎么用图片设置背景呢？

        if (error) throw error;

        svg.insert("path", ".graticule").datum(topojson.feature(world, world.objects.land)).attr("class", "land").attr("d", path);

我用的css设置的.land的fill,但是这个只是纯色

请问怎么设置图片为背景呢？
