I call an API via HttpURLConnection and get back the response from the server and it contains some i18n content. Example response data
{
...
"content": "?????"
...
}
I convert this data as a string in UTF-8 format using BufferedReader
BufferedReader inputstream = new BufferedReader(new InputStreamReader({responseStream}));
String inputLine;
StringBuffer respons = new StringBuffer();
while ((inputLine = inputstream.readLine()) != null) {
respons.append(inputLine);
}
inputstream.close();
String value = new String(respons.toString().getBytes("UTF-8"));
System.out.println(value);
But all chars in the string are converted as ?
or some other char symbols
. what is the mistake I made it here? Is there any other way to get exact content from the response and store it in a string?
