mod security - Logging of Rule triggerd for ruleEngine=Off

Question

I noticed that the rule that is triggered to do ruleEngine=Off doesn't seems to be ever get logged, the other rules with other actions logs well. An example of the rule is as follows:

SecRule ip:bf_counter "@eq 111" 
id:55666,phase:1,log,allow,ctl:ruleEngine=Off

Is this the correct behaviour ? I'm on v2.9.2 on Apache.
