javascript - Uncaught (in promise) DOMException: The element has no supported sources. in Vue

Question

The video I am trying to load is at '@/assets/bg1.mp4'.
I reference it with

data-videomp4="@/assets/bg1.mp4"

and grabbing that from the revslider.js file
I get this error when using the component in Vue.
If I copy paste the same code (with the path adjusted) to a simple HTML file it works fine and the file loads.
Any ideas what could cause the problem?
