java - Netbeans 8.2 EE install on Mac issue

Question

I am trying to install Netbeans 8.2 EE for web application development. I am on MacOS Big Sur 11.2 and have Java JDK installed (JDK-15) but I keep getting this error. I have also tried installing JDK 8 and nothing seems to prevent this error. Despite this error happening at the end of install, Netbeans 8.2 EE shows up in my applications but trying to run it, nothing happens. Does anyone know why this is happening?
