jupyter - Is there a recommended multi classification machine learning algorithm?

How to develop a multi-class classification in Machine Learning, is there any recommended algorithm ? I am trying utilize a multi-class classification in python on a huge amount of medical data set. I have seen several binary classification algorithms available . I saw some multi-classification ones too, however those rely on the binary classification repeated several times. Is there any other alternative algorithm you could recommend for multi-class classification?
