javascript - Show progress bar by sending request to the server

i want to show progress bar indicator in my application (nodejs and react) while i'm sending request to the server. i'm using graphql for request to the server and how can i do that? is graphql or rest api matter to show progress bar? i would be very grateful if anyone could help me.
