virtual machine - virt-manager unable to start any of my VMs

Question

I use virt-manager for multiple linux and windows VMs,and recently whenever I start a linux VM I usually get

end Kernel Panic - not syncing: Attempted to kill the idle task!

Sometimes they just stay in a blank screen forever,and when they do boot up they are in the last saved state but frozen.

For my windows VM I get

Stop code: IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL

or

Stop code: SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION

I have created multiple new VMs to make sure it wasn't a issue with just the specific VMs, but all of them have the same problems.
