amazon ecs - How to find out origin endpoint that causes AWS CloudFront 4xx Error Rates

Question

I have setup CloudFront in front of ECS. We are receiving some 4XX error rates from CloudFront. Is there a way to see which origin endpoint causes these errors? I couldn't find in default CloudWatch metrics anything that relates to it. Also enabling additional metrics in CloudWatch does not seem to give insight to endpoints, only separation of 4XX errors in to subcategories like 404, 403 etc. https://docs.aws.amazon.com/AmazonCloudFront/latest/DeveloperGuide/viewing-cloudfront-metrics.html#monitoring-console.distributions-additional

Is the only way to enable/catching 4XX errors on ECS container side?
