I have an iOS application that I want to open via scanning a QR Code from the native iOS scanner. If the app is not installed then it should go to a webpage.
To do this I have setup Universal Links. In mobile Safari if I click on a link to the universal link it correctly opens my iOS app. If I scan a QR Code with the link using the iOS scanner app it just takes me to the webpage. I thought that the QR scanner app would prompt me to open either in Safari or my app, but that is not happening.
Anyone able to get this workflow working? Perhaps something has changed in newer versions of iOS?
