cytoscape.js - How to configure static segments on cytoscape?

segment edge example

Based on the image above (taken from the cytoscape.js edges example). There is a way to configure the segments edge to be static?, so if a node is dragged to another position, only the segment adjacent to the him is moved (marked in red) and the others stay in their current position.

I'm using https://github.com/iVis-at-Bilkent/cytoscape.js-edge-editing to add bend points to an edge.
