visual studio 2017 - Some structs in VS2017 debugger are not expandable

Question

When attaching to a process (python that calls OpenSSL in my case), in VS2017, some structs defined in a function are not expandable (or browsable) although VS recognizes these structures in the code itself (meaning it has the structures definition). For example, here, local s is expandable, yet sk and x are not... Can someone please explain what might be the reason?
