javascript - Using pre-rendered Mathjax formulas

I'm building a webapp that requires a lot of LaTeX formulas be displayed at once on a webpage.

Those formulas are pulled from a database in which they are saved as TeX code, and are then rendered by Mathjax plugin. I have noticed a performance drop with 10 or more pieces of equations at once on the same page. The page is laggy and slow to respond and it takes up to 15 seconds more or less for it to get back to working properly.

As a possible fix, I've been considering using Mathjax to render the pieces of TeX and saving the generated HTML to the database instead. Are there any possible issues with this approach?

If so, what are other ways I could increase the performance of Mathjax on my app?
