I was hoping to get some help on setting up Hapijs to host an angular project with routing.
My Angular static files are inside a directory named public.
I have my hapijs file set up like this:
const Hapi = require('@hapi/hapi');
const Inert = require('@hapi/inert');
const Path = require('path');
const server = new Hapi.Server({
port: 4200,
host: 'localhost',
routes: {
files: {
relativeTo: Path.join(__dirname, 'public'),
}
}
});
const provision = async () => {
await server.register(Inert);
server.route({
method: 'GET',
path: '/{param*}',
handler: {
file: 'index.html'
}
});
await server.start();
console.log('Server running at:', server.info.uri);
};
provision();
The problem I'm experiencing is whenever I'm browsing to the web server it manages to load index.html but fails to load the required angular models (runtime.js, polyfills.js, main-es2015.js) with the following error:
Failed to load module script: The server responded with a non-JavaScript MIME type of "text/html". Strict MIME type checking is enforced for module scripts per HTML spec.
