Amazon SES version 4 signature with x509?

Question

Amazon SES will only support signature version 4, but when I login to IAM Access Manager Dashboard and I click on the signature certificate, I got this message:

"Use a Signing Certificate (or X.509 Certificate) for secure access to certain AWS product interfaces"

There is nothing related to "version 4" on this link, so when I follow this link, will I have the "version 4 signature" already? And how can we check the version of the signature?

I'm using Amazon SES for sending email from Magento 2 (Mageplaza extension)
