macos - Apache Netbeans 12.2.pkg for Mac OS Big Sur - C/C++ [1.30.6.1] Pluggin : Problem with GDB debugger

• Working with Apache Netbeans 12.2 on Mac

• When I debug my "Hello World" project the following issue arises;

  GDB has unexpectedly stopped with return 1

I then click "OK" Starting Debugger - Starting gdb Progress alert pops up, but seems to be in an infinite loop. I press cancel and the alert disappears and nothing happens.

I've tried the following to rectify the issue:

1. Installed gdb and re-created gbd certificate 3 times using the following link: Netbeans "Resolve missing debugger command" C++

2. Also tried deleting and recreating the gdb certificate with the following instructions in this link : https://apple.stackexchange.com/questions/309017/unknown-error-2-147-414-007-on-creating-certificate-with-certificate-assist

3. Re-installed NetBeans 3 times.

None of the above seems to work, not sure where to go from here?
