Nginx Disabling folder access from non-root domain to root domain

Question

I have two sites-enabled on Nginx server.

One is foo.example.com the second is example.com.

I want to restrict accessing foo.example.com's directory from example.com.

E.g if my example.com is hacked I dont want hackers to have access to foo.example.com
