python - Window building system in software/two windows side by side/cascade layout / full-screen layout?

What can I theoretically say about building popup windows e.g. with path result from dijkstra algorithm? What are the possibilities of presenting such results (for example, on one window: A-B path and on the other window: B-A path). I've heard of the cascade concept but can't find more information. Could someone elaborate on the topic of how and how it is possible to present two windows with results side by side, how it works inside the program, what are the dependencies when building such windows etc? Any information will be valuable!
