google chrome - ''data-nosnippet'' HTML attribute

Question

Google say that: "Independently of page-level meta-tags, you can designate parts of an HTML page not to be used in snippets. This can be done with the data-nosnippet HTML attribute on span, div, or section HTML elements."

But will it work if i use this data-nosnippet attribute for div but in which I have the <a> and <b> tags in which the text is located. Will this text be indexed?
