Since 2021 arrived, Flot chart begins Jan 1970, still shows current file data at end

Question

My plotted file contains two weeks, dates are explicit:

2021-01-03 22:21:14.636679  20.896
2021-01-03 22:26:14.621113  20.896
2021-01-03 22:31:14.605466  20.873
2021-01-03 22:36:14.589784  20.896
2021-01-03 22:41:14.578303  20.896

Nothing has changed in file or code except it being 2021 now.

The plot now shows every year since 1970, starting on the first month and day in the file.

Obviously it knows what is in the file, it just calculates the left boundary to be 50 years ago! Must be a problem inside Flot - but where? Is anyone else seeing this?
