php - sorting of xml data by parameter

I need some help how sort existing xml array, here it is:

<e>
  <id>1</id>
  <name>London</name>
</e>
<e>
  <id>2</id>
  <name>Berlin</name>
</e>
<e>
  <id>3</id>
  <name>Paris</name>
</e>
<e>
  <id>4</id>
  <name>Rome</name>
</e>

Currently it is sorted by "id" tag, but I need to reorder it by php and to get it sorted by the "name" tag. Many thanks in advance for your help!
