r - simulation.matrix in Zelig

Question

It appears the newer versions of the Zelig package no longer have the simulation.matrix function (https://www.rdocumentation.org/packages/Zelig/versions/4.2-1/topics/simulation.matrix). I am replicating an old code that relies on this function, and was wondering if anyone knows of a replacement. [Also note that downloading the older version, Zelig v4.2-1, isn't an option either since it is not available for recent versions of R].
