magento2 - how to translate customer prefix in magento 2 email template

Question

i'm trying to translate customer prefix in template emails in magento 2, i have already tried

{{trans "%civility" civility=$customer.prefix}}
{{trans "customer.prefix"}}
{{trans customer.prefix}}
{{trans "var customer.prefix"}}

but none of these is working,, and i have also trying to add a block which returns translated prefix

{{block class='Magento\Framework\View\Element\Template' area='frontend' template='Vendor_Module::email/prefix.phtml' prefix=$customer.prefix lang="fr"}}

but it doesn't seem to be a good solution,i need to override all magento template to add that blocks, is there any other solution for that? thanks
