ios - Swift - TabBar Class offset images

Question

I have subclassed TabBar to create a custom tab bar. I am able to offset the title position but not the image/icon position.

self.items?.forEach({ $0.titlePositionAdjustment = UIOffset(horizontal: 0.0, vertical: -5.0) }) //works

self.items?.forEach({ $0.imageInsets = UIEdgeInsets(top: -10, left: 0, bottom: 0, right: 0) }) //does not work
